Do recipients need a SIGN.PLUS account?

Recipients do not need an account to sign documents on SIGN.PLUS.

Upon a signature request, recipients receive an email inviting them to review and sign the document, whether they have an account or not. They are then required to follow these steps:

  1. Open the Email containing the signature request.
  2. Click on the button Review Document.
  3. Check the box to agree to Use Electronic Records and Signatures and click on Confirm.
  4. Tap the Signature Block.
  5. Enter their Full Name.
  6. Select Type, Draw or Upload
  • Type: choose the print signature of their choice.
  • Draw: use their mouse or trackpad to sign as they would do with a pen.
  • Upload: add a scan or photo of their signature.
  1. Click on Confirm.
  2. Tap the other Signature Blocks if applicable.
  3. Click on Done.

Once all the parties have signed the document, they receive a signed copy with read permission via email.
